In this Fellow Case Study, we spotlight WaterHub, a Jakarta-based climate enterprise founded by Lyonda Huwaidi, providing refill water stations that reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles. The model is straightforward: customers access clean drinking water through refill stations, avoiding the need for packaged water while lowering both cost and environmental impact.

The company’s Fellowship journey reflects a foundational stage of enterprise growth, where strengthening systems, leadership alignment, and operational focus can be as important as rapid expansion. Through the Program’s tailored technical assistance, the company worked closely with Listy Laura Boru Simamora, Fikri Prawitohadi, Yusuf Syaid, Akmal Sulhan Tardoh, Rivaldo Lawalata and the wider WaterHub team to build greater operational discipline, clarify its commercial direction, and develop a stronger evidence base for communicating its environmental impact.
